Hi this was another birthday cake I made for my 9 year old, he like moshi monsters and asked for a Katsumi cake this was my first fiddly one, im still learning about fondants and different ways and methods but im enjoying learning all about cakes x

Hi, This was a tricky one but worth every bit of effort just to see my little boys face light up at his 5th birthday party, hope you like it.

This is the SkyLander portal of power, and my kids love skylanders, again I used a madeira cake with vanilla buttercream, I had to carve the rough shape of the grooves between each pillar in order to get the detail I wanted, on this occasion I used a cake topper .

• This was for my little boy it was his 4th birthday and loves teenage mutant ninja turtles, when I asked him what sort of cake he would like ninja turtles was his answer, The cake took me two days from start to finish, all of it is edible, the little ninja men on the top of the cake were chocolate truffle and the kids loved them, I used a Madeira sponge as its quite dense and doesn't mind being carved up abit, I was pleased how it turned out .
